Pegah Montazeri
Hi, I am Pegah Montazeri and I am the co-president of Panther Creek's RMH Club. I am a senior at Panther Creek High School.

My primary goal is to major in biochemistry at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a minor in Spanish. My favorite subjects in school are math and science (especially biology).

Panther Creek's RMH Club partners with the RMH at Chapel Hill to bring awareness and warmth to the families going through life-changing crises. Students will visit RMH and volunteer there with the families.

The main purpose of our club is to help children in our community who do not have as many friendships, due to a hardship or illness that has made their life difficult, to converse with new people.

Co-Presidents of Panther Creek's RMH Club are Mahathi Mallela and Pegah Montazeri. Their focus was to start a club that focuses primarily on children. After further researching, they came across Ronald McDonald House of Charities. Having heard of this charity in a webinar the previous week, Mahathi knew it was the perfect fit. Knowing that RMH allows families to have their children gain access to special medical treatments and a safe place to stay, left a special place in their heart.

The Ronald McDonald House is a worldwide organization that has the primary goal of wanting to aid in the treatment of children by giving them a place to heal and stay at little to no cost. The Founder is Ray Kroc. The Ronald McDonald House organizations are supported by McDonald’s owners and regional staff. As well as, customers through fundraisers held by McDonald’s franchises. McDonalds donates about $1,000,000 to the RMH annually (the largest corporate donor).
Currently there are over 365 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries.

“If you can’t feed a hundred people, feed just one.”
– Mother Teresa, founder of The Missionaries of Charity
Our Mission
Our mission is to spread awareness of RMH through fundraising and events in school and community. By developing relationships with families we can improve the health of children, give comfort for parents, and overall learn more about philosophy and civic responsibility.

Our Vision
“A world where all children have access to medical care, and their families are supported and actively involved in their children's care” -Our and RMH’s Vision
Our Goal
We want to bring awareness that there are people who are going through adversities everyday and ensure that children don’t grow up in a toxic environment. We want to educate them and have the children at the Ronald McDonald House grow as individuals. Additionally, we want to help the children at the RMH gain friendships with students and gain awareness from donations this club helps accumulate over time.
